Which devices does Skipifi work on?
Android phones and tablets (Android 13 or later recommended), on their own or casting to your TV, plus Google TV and Android TV. On iPhone (iOS 18 or later), Skipifi is the remote for the free Skipifi app on your Google TV, Android TV or Chromecast with Google TV — the TV app does the skipping and muting. There's no iPad or Chrome version yet; subscribe for updates.
Is Skipified content guaranteed to be safe?
We use AI and depend on user feedback to Skipifi content, so viewer discretion is always advised — and we will only get better with time. Safety ratings are a good alternative for when you want to be sure of the content you are watching.
Do I need a TV to use Skipifi?
Not on Android — Skipifi works on the phone or tablet itself. On iPhone, yes: you need a Google TV, Android TV or Chromecast with Google TV with the free Skipifi app installed, on the same Wi-Fi network.
How do I set up Skipifi on my TV?

Where do I find the QR code?
The QR code is shown by the Skipifi TV app, not by the TV itself. If you don't see one, the Skipifi app isn't installed on your TV yet, or isn't open: install it from the Google Play Store on your Google TV or Android TV, then open it. How to set up your TV.
Does Skipifi work on Samsung, LG, Roku or Fire TV?
Not directly. Those TVs don't have the Google Play Store, so they can't install the Skipifi TV app, and neither can older Chromecasts without a remote. Plug a Chromecast with Google TV or a Google TV Streamer into the TV instead, and install Skipifi on that. Sony Bravia, TCL, Philips, Sharp, Xiaomi, and the Google TV models from Hisense, Toshiba and Haier, work as they are, on Android TV 8.0 or later. See which TVs work.
